Our Alpine Pasture

Our hike to Saukogl-Alm is an experience for all the senses. The pasture is farmed in summer: cattle go up in May and return at the end of September.

We follow the same path through fields and forest and across alpine ground to the hut. The forest fragrance and awakening morning nature are a delight, and along the way you can learn about nature and alpine farming.

At the hut, a homemade “Knolln Schnapsl” awaits. Breakfast is a wholesome traditional dish once cooked and eaten by local farmers. What exactly is it? Come and be surprised.
